We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we stand and practice – the Turrbal peoples from the northside of the river and the Jagera peoples of the south side of the river and we pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

We believe that architecture is about engaging in the very personal journey of design in order to realise extraordinary architectural outcomes. We work to make the process of design and construction, something which is positive, memorable and life changing.
To deliver an exceptional product in a personalized way requires the understanding and expertise of many. Our core group of like-minded designers includes architects and interior designers who work collaboratively to create meaningful places and spaces.
We love to work on residential projects – including new builds and renovations, as well as community and commercial projects of all scales.

Our Team
Kieron Gait
Kieron is a registered Architect with over twenty years of professional experience. He has been involved with a broad range of projects, typologies range from single residences through resort design to large mixed use development. Kieron has established a strong presence in Brisbane with a number of awarded and published projects. He is invited to speak regularly at industry events and is an active member of the Architectural and local community, participating on design panels and industry awards judging.
Wei Shun Lee
Wei is an interior designer with over twenty years experience working on a diverse range of projects, from tailoring spaces to suit boutique retail and single residencies through to office fitouts for large organisations. She is passionate about creating beautiful, functional spaces for people, spaces specific to its site and thinking beyond the norm.
Kristian Meredith
With 20+ years of practiced experience across educational, multi residential and single dwelling typologies, Kristian deploys this knowledge with an inherent design sensibility to establish meaningful outcomes.
Lyle Frazer
Lyle has five years of working experience with KGA and has gained a solid foundation in residential architecture- he is well versed in all aspects of the project from site startup to contract documentation.
Lily Parsons
Lily is a graduate of architecture passionate about designing spaces that encourage meaningful connections between people and landscape. Prior to KGA, she has worked in architectural practices in London and the Sunshine Coast. Lily is a sessional design and theory tutor at the University of Queensland and co-editor of Chez Etym., a body of work exploring speculative perceptions of place within architecture.
Environmental Impact
Kieron Gait Architects has been certified as a Carbon Neutral studio. We have been tracking, measuring and offsetting our emissions on an ongoing basis. For the past two years, we have been carbon positive by almost 7 tonnes of CO2 by purchasing offsets for native regeneration and conservation in Mt Sandy. We have installed solar panels, switched to Green Energy and are reducing paper consumption.
As a studio, we have developed a common understanding about the importance of sustainability, to tread lightly on country, to care for and repair the land. Collectively we are searching for ways to positively impact the environment through decisions we make in our projects.
